Confidentiality & data use

You're handing us unpublished inventions. We built for that.

An invention disclosure before filing is the most sensitive document a technology transfer office holds. A solicitation response is the most sensitive document a program office holds. Here's exactly what happens to yours — and what never happens to it.

01

Your data never trains a model

Your disclosures, documents, and files are not used to train or retrain any AI model — ours or anyone else's. AI processes your data in real time to produce your output, and the underlying models are never enriched or modified by it. Nothing you submit makes its way into a system that another customer can query.

02

You keep everything you own

You retain full ownership of all intellectual property in anything you submit. Uploading a disclosure grants us what we need to produce your deliverable and nothing beyond it. No license to your invention, no claim on your filing, no residual rights.

03

Nothing crosses between customers

Your data is never made available to another customer, in any form. Findings, prior art, company records, and analysis stay inside your account. What we learn from your work stays with your work.

04

Deletion is yours to request

Ask and your data is deleted, subject only to legal and contractual obligations we're bound by. You can also access, correct, restrict processing of, or export your data on request.

What actually happens to a disclosure

From upload to deletion.

Upload

Encrypted in transit. Stored encrypted at rest. Access restricted to authorized personnel and systems — not the whole company.

Analysis

AI processes your text in real time against our patent corpus to produce novelty, obviousness, eligibility, enablement, and freedom-to-operate findings. Processing happens under the same access controls and encryption as storage. The models don't retain it.

Output

Your report, provisional draft, or shortlist is generated and available to you. Every finding traces back to a public reference — a published patent, a clearance record, a company profile — never to another customer's data.

Retention

Held while your account is active and while needed to deliver the service. Retained so you can return to the work, not so we can mine it.

Deletion

On your request, at any time.

Security

Industry-standard controls, stated plainly.

Encryption in transit and at rest
Role-based access controls, with disclosure access limited to authorized personnel and systems
Continuous security monitoring
Third-party infrastructure providers contractually bound to these same protections
